We've traded flash flooding, wet and cool for bone dry, 90° temps and stifling humidity the past 2 days. Not as good a trade as Manhattan for beads, I'd say.

If one of those cats starts singing opera, he or she may be a relative of Zeena's from the US. Send a pix and I'll ask her. You may have a rodent or two (field mice, moles, voles) hiding nearby that foliage the cat was hiding in. Or there may have been a stray dog prowling nearby. I've learned from sad experience they sometime kill cats. Regardless, you get to tick off yet another feline sighted. You must have your tally notebook almost full by now? winkngrin
