Folks,

Jens: wink

I'll have a McMutton, fries and a coke. What a delightfully enthralling yarn. Very good reading late on a Christmas day.

I can well remember our excitement during the Falklands conflict. We watched our TV with baited breath as the news reports came trickling in. At first, the British fleet slowly sailed South allowing time for a diplomatic solution. Then when no such solution was forthcoming, the battle reports and the action film clips began airing. Frankly, the minus Mach one Harrier got better press than did the mighty Vulcan here in the States.

And who can ever forget the gun camera footage of those Argentinian jets being blown out of the sky or the slo-mo film of that Exocet missile ramming into the side of the British ship?

War fills ribboned chests with pride but it also fills hospitals with casualties and body bags as well. Let us pray for peace and good will toward all men in the New Year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
