Graphic rendered by JRT 2007

Folks,

Dux:

Master of his vessel indeed, though it took many long and happy hours of practice. \:\)

You completely exposed....much too graphic for my tender sensibilities Old Chap.

Do cover yourself in your ceremonial garb and don the above sparkley. Completely overlooking your penchant for public nudity, recent notice has indeed been taken, in very high circles, (we were all high at the time) of your many and varied talents. All agreed that you deserve recognition and should be therefore raised to the inestimable rank of Lord Poet Laurette and Keeper of the Privy Chamber. I can see that you are overwhelmed. Sit a bit and catch you breath.

Better now? There's a good chap. So, in spite of your recent admission of plagiarism, and sparing every possible expense, the above badge and chain of office was commissioned to be rendered not in Sterling but rather in highest quality aluminum (merely to save weight in shipping). It is presented to you now with the highest esteem and with all honors and privileges attached thereto. May you wear the beastly heavy thing proudly...but never in swimming.

BTW. The ancient and deeply moving Lord Poet Laurette investiture ceremony is to be held in the newly redecorated and spacious club room of the Prince and Polecat. As it has always been our custom for the honoree to buy all the drinks, that ceremony is conveniently scheduled for your next payday. ;\)
