Good Day Gents,

Old Dux, any spot which tries to keep me out must have something going for it, I'd definitely go back were I a dignified gentleman such as yourself. Ah, yes, many magical birding times at Point Pelee - some of the birds were avian species. Kirtland's Warbler comes to mind. I hope to see you there one of these days.

JRT, excellent, I will start looking for you tomorrow morning. The good news is that Canadian air being lighter than American air, it will take fewer puffs to make you bouyant. Also taking into acccount the 50 lbs you will lose walking from where you are, you will be floating in no time. If your luck holds you might be able to catch a hurricane tail wind, so carry a bed sheet for a sail on the walk north. On my last trip across the lake I suggested to the captain that he could save energy by cutting the engine and using manpower, and that luckily I had brought along the apprpriate device for him to use. So I know where he told me to stick my paddle - I hope that helps.
