You have it there in a nutshell old sport. The sudden love affair with Ethanol is linked exclusively to those stockholders/investors who are expecting a huge profit from the use of grain with the Government creating the structure that makes it all possible. The fact that it may alleviate the fuel shortage is purely incidental. All shortages are purposely engineered for monetary gain. It is a requirement of any government - anywhere.
