JRT,

That invite sure is tempting, especially at this time of the year stuck here in Derbyshire.
Should the good old Jack Daniels Company fall on hard times, that would be as good a time as any to arrive and celebrate our transatlantic get-together while at the same time reviving any such flagging sales. It would also give a whole new meaning to the name of Lynchburg.

Your road-kill menu would be a real feast by the sound of it, although we do pretty well for that kind of thing what with the Duke of Devonshire's prime pheasants being bowled over with almost monotonous regularity. Perhaps I could send you a brace for Christmas. I'm sure they would be OK. After all, they are supposed to be hung for quite a while before arriving in the kitchen.
If you are fussy about quality, I will eventually drive around the Chatsworth Estate as we approach yuletide when several may be harvested - by accident of course. rolleyes
Or, perhaps, Haddon Hall birds are more to your taste?
