Folks,

P20-Dux:

On the topic of "The victors write the history", if you have not already, check out the thread by HeinKill on page one of this forum.

He has read a provocative book, apparently written as if the other side had won the Second World War. Of course no one ever "wins" a war, everyone loses in some fashion. The losses in material are often devastating even to the victors and the loss in lives, both combatant and civilian, are dear indeed on each side. Check it out.

Dux:
'Tis a drizzly day here in Dixie. We had torrential rains Friday and Saturday that nearly capsized the Ark is was speedily trying to build.... I hope that your weather is more like that being enjoyed by our Canadian pal C51. He claims that spring has sprung in Toronto. He'll be ticking off those warm-weather birdies left and right before long. He has just returned from a painting expedition down by Lake Ontario. Perhaps he will scan in and send us the results. I have done some computer graphics using Illustrator and PhotoShop recently but haven't wet a brush in ages.

Do you do any sketching these days? How about on your birding forays?
