P20, Welcome back! \:\)

Tell me about it! When we were playing in the early local bands circa 1960, virtually every venue had different wall plugs to the last one. Small three-pin, large three pin, Wylex, the new standardized three flat-pin and even two pin of large and small size. The hours we spent changing plugs or searching for compatible ones was nobody's business - but ours. We often wired up to three small amplifiers into the terminals of a given plug because we hadn't enough plugs to go round. Potentialy lethal. At one gig we wired said amps into the ceiling light socket - which meant we were not earthed!. They were barely audible as one might expect.
