After a spectacular electric storm which raged throughout most of the night we duly assembled next morning in the confined space of the garage where the drummer proved most able to the task.


After becoming unanimously accepted he was able to deliver a rousing vocal rendition of 'Blue Suede Shoes' and proved able to pitch good harmony parts. We broke up in the early after noon with other parts to learn from the Byrd's version of
My Back Pages and the Everlys When Will I Be Loved. All-in-all, a rewarding session. Also, an instrumental: Johnny and the Roccos version of Saturday Night at the Duck Pond. This decimation from Swan Lake would have Tchaikovsky spinning in his grave.
