Yes, how well I do remember your writing about that Tractor fan-belt symposium. Olga created so much attention in the world's papers that the international sales of vodka tripled. Stalin was said to have been very pleased when the revenue from those sales were more than enough to completely refurbish the famous battleship Potemkin and to create from it a floating museum, restaurant and coin operated brothel that was the envy of the entire Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
Perhaps this is why Olga was tapped to be the lucky Sovietess to slide down that anchor chain and on into Stalins wettest of dreams? Is it true that the entire compliment of officers and crew were forced to stand on the opposite side of the ship from Olga to keep the Potemkin from tipping over when she slid down the provocatively greasy anchor chain?
