Folks,

I flew a mission last night and not only did I bag 2 87s I also RTB and landed right side up. This quick mission was actually started on the ground. It was the closest thing to a 'scramble' I've seen in BoB. Several unsociable JU-87s were attacking our field without benefit of escort and so, having little else to do, some mates and I went up rather hurriedly to greet them and give most of them a very warm reception.

On landing, I taxied up to one of the hangers and noted that my mates continued rolling on apparently between two buildings. I revved up the old Merlin and I followed them. Once I was between the hangers, some nice chap in a blue flying suit actually came out to greet me. I'd never seen that one before. To be honest, I'm not completely clear on what was going on.

MG:

Another thing about the travel program to Denmark that intrigued me was the Christiana experiment. Is that still considered to be just a social experiment or has it become permanent?
