Those injuries you mention can hardly be an excuse for levity, and believe me, I sympathise with you for the inconvenience and restrictions you have suffered and are indeed still suffering from. However, seeing as how you have not detailed the causes I am tempted to think that our mutual fiend may have somehow been involved.
I recall a while back that a new Pilot Officer, 'Squiffy' Scrimshaw had the discourtesy to comment that Olga's hind quarters resembled two medicine balls in a pillowcase. He suffered similar injuries which proved to be more than enough to clutter up the Station Sick Quarters with Lucozade, grapes, flowers and 'get-well' cards.
