Tell C51 to stay retired when the time comes. Just think of all that birding time he will be able to indulge in.
Retirement is a myth anyway. Everybody seems to think that you have all the time in the world and are therefor available for every bum job that crops up. You have to become devious and crafty. Make up a short list of immediate excuses. Learn them off by heart and train yourself to respond to all requests immediately. Then you can look forward to enjoying your 'golden years' without busting your ass on behalf of others.
