Folks,

Dux:

Nice Hawk photo. All the hawks I see around here have feathers.

Engines: Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour turbofan
Thrust: 5200lbs
Max speed: 550kts
Length: 11.9m Max
altitude: 48,000ft
Span: 9.39m
Aircrew: 2
Armament: AIM-9 Sidewinder, Aden 30mm, Cluster Bombs.

They are getting long in the tooth indeed. The Hawk first entered service with the RAF in 1976, both as an advanced flying-training aircraft and a weapons-training aircraft. I believe it is still used by the RAF Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows? Or maybe not?

Compressed Jpegs save space and load faster. It is difficult to do much with Jpegs due to their intrinsic lossy nature and the obvious artifacts always attendant to them especially at low res. Every time you copy a Jpeg file you lose some detail and add more artifacts. I have programs for dealing with these faults however none are perfect and getting rid of artifacts can often cause you to lose desired sharpness and detail.
