My condolences to the citizens of Denmark, including our representative there, Mr. McGonigle on the loss of a member of the Royal Family.
Reports have just reached here of an earthquake in the 4.4 range that has been felt in Wales. -Apparently a rare activity. Hope Old Dux and all his loved ones are in good form, and none-the-worse from what can be a very scary experience.
JRT: I hope you are OK, with not lasting damages (well, except to your pride) from your unusual acrobatics leaving that comfy bed. I would not worry too much about any anguish Zena may have suffered when she saw you entangled in the sheets.
I can almost bet that her main concern -assuming your losing the Battle of the Sheets- was probably counting the meals she could get out of your inert body should you not be able to reach and replenish her normal food supply. She is a cat, you know.
I remember seeing, or thinking about making a box with a simple latch in which one could hide or store the bathroom paper. Haven't done woodwork in ages.
