Deere led a charmed life throughout the Battle, crashlanding and being shot down several times.
During a raid on his airfield he was thrown upside down in his Spitfire by bomb blast. He was Station Commander at Duxford in 1945.

It is a sad fact that memorials and graves are sometimes attacked by moral degenerates.
Such people should be flogged in public and I would be glad to pay for the priviledge of dishing it out....they would then be confined in Olga's private chambers for the weekend.

There is much quarrying activity in this part of Derbyshire and this means that truckers abound. You might be forgiven for thinking that the Confederacy has become re-established in the 'old country' if you counted the number of trucks bearing the flag inside the cabs. This may be due to the fact that there is a large following of Country & Western music around these 'ere parts. They don't give a sh*t about correctness.
