Gentlemen,

There is an interesting sequence of 6 good quality black and white photographs showing a crashed Dornier17Z which was brought down on the 15th September 1940. http://www.shoreham-aircraft-museum.co.uk/dornier/

The first picture should be the last in sequence actually because by the time it was taken they had started to dismantle the tail unit. Note the bullet hole in the radio mast! There must be many hundreds of pictures similar to these in both private and official possession. If only some of them could be drawn together by appeal and used as a basis for a series of illustrated BoB volumes of previously unpublished photographs - before it is too late. BBTN gathered many such pictures in this way.
