Talking about being forgetful, I now remember what I forgot to mention yesterday regarding Old Dux' WoV loading issues.

Did you update DX9c recently Old Dux? It seems MS regularly sneak in updates of DX9 without changing the version numbering which catches out a lot of people. So if you didn't update DX9 when you ran the 2.08 update, it might be worth a try.
