As McG feared, I have indeed come hotfoot from the sales, and, having spent little, seem to have had my suspicions confirmed. Most of the discounted stuff is largely made up of the crap they couldn't shift or give away before the festive season fell opon us. I bought an XL size booster jumper today for birding, assuming it to be of Chinese manufacture (they nearly all seem to be nowadays) and therefore undersize to western specification. Actually it wasn't made in the orient so it hung on me like Farmer Drubbins's milking smock. A size L or perhaps even a Medium would do? Will try again.
