I celebrated the New Year in my usual style, by going to bed early and leaving those who wished to imbibe in such excesses as wallowing in booze, half-digested food, and treatment in the local Accident & Emergency Dept., to their own devices. Then up early in the morn with a clear head to scour the Welsh coastal birding areas from Conway (Conwy) to Abergele where I jettisoned a low-grade hot-pot pie after making several attempts to eat it. Those greedy gulls will no doubt be up all night with indigestion as a result.
BTW: If we remove those 'negativities' you mentioned, won't that severely limit our output?
