I believe that the Amos 'n' Andy series was and perhaps still is available on Amazon in VHS form. They may be available on DVD today. Personally, I found the characters lovable, the writing well done and so delightfully funny. It never seemed to be mean spirited but all in fun. Sometimes we in our misguided but good intentioned actions make us our own worst enemies.
