Sometimes it strikes me that aircraft manufacturers, or their customers, can sometimes show singular lack of imagination when naming aircraft types. We have previously had a Typhoon of course, two Corsairs, two Lightnings, two Dominies (rather less well known), two Furys (from the same stable) to name but a few. Perhaps we can eventually look forward to having our skies graced by Spitfires and Hurricanes which offer an entirely different silhouette?
