We were doing a line Patrol and got jumped by a flight of 3 Red Nose boys 2 of them hit our 2 rovers while one chap came thundering in B flight's 4 a/c ( Mostly me I got hits in the lower wing ,but managed a side slip out of harms way. One of the rovers got him. I pressed on doing a low speed wing over firing at an e/a My bullets hit empty air as he turned then I lost him. ( Went under me ? ) Score 1 e/a shot down. 1 SE lost ( Missing ) 2 damaged + mine I mistakenly flew to low over the trenches picking up 3 more hole in back of my seat. ( I just gotta get that Blooming Height gauge fixed )
