Took off to attack a Rail Jct, but got jumped by 6 Huns. They just fell on us from upsun as we crossed NML Our cover flight of 3 Rovers lost 2 a/c for 1 Hun. B Flight lost 1 + 3 Damaged a/c for 2 Huns. I used up a drum keeping the leader's tail cleared then went to re load and got bounced by 2 Huns so spun out and ran. The Huns went home when Archie fired on them,
