(Knocks at the Wiggins house) Excuse me Mr Wiggins sir but is Lou playing out?

Fullofit - Great video, that Brequet was a close call. The French have obviously given their two seater pilots something in their champagne the way they're throwing themselves around. For a moment I thought they were double teaming Rudi, but he came good.

Lou - Now there's a classic dogfight, a well flown Camel against a well flown Triplane. Not just any old Triplane but one of Richthofen's finest. It came down to one mistake and he made it. A nasty flesh wound is a payable price as long as Freddy's alive to see it heal. Another newcomer bites the dust, poor Peabody. As for the rest of the Squadron, let's hope they learn from the experience.

NR - Just one more day in hospital for Cunningham and not a moment too soon. Cooped up in bed is no place for a fighter pilot and it's clearly getting to him.

"A great deal of an aeroplane could be holed without affecting its ability to fly. Wings and fuselage could be—and often were—pierced in 50 places, missing the occupants by inches (blissfully unaware of how close it had come until they returned to base). Then the sailmaker would carefully cover each hole with a square inch of Irish linen frayed at the edges and with a brushful of dope make our aircraft 'serviceable' again within an hour."
