A Bad Day. Departed in 2 flights of 4 for an aerodrome attack. Returned with 5 Machines.+ a pilot Wnd. Zee Bosche hit our Roving Flight with 7 V struts. I broke off to help while the other 3 machines made Zee Ground attack. I couldn't get through to help, but one e/a broke off so I followed, As he let down, I closed and got off 100 or so rds and his wing broke off. I banked towards the reforming B Flt as 5 D-II's jumped them Just as I got on Zee Bosche Bang Bang Zee Gun it Jammed . Ran and RTB, Claims 2 e/a for the ESC
