I think that's not real... His mark is HUGE! And "Blackbird" too.... They must be not so big on the screen

I never seen the Blackbird on the screen, but has a friend who watched it regularly is Czech...

... so I would not discuss this aspect, but.

At the Wide Beam mode, the scan size is 20°, and it is displayed at the indicators of 20° horizontal resolution.


At the Narrow Beam mode, the scan size is only 7.5°, and it is displayed at the same indicators of 20° horizontal resolution.

This is why all targets are stretched 2.6x times horizontally at the displays during narrow beam.

ps: if you swiths to LORO, than again the 20° wide antennas are receiving, so the targets are "normal" sized.
