case 1: B-52, burnthrough, K3 set, range locked, missile detonated halfway because of chaff. Should be immune to that! case 2: shooting a jammer without burnthrough, K3 accidentally left switched on, missile passed boresight and detonated by radio fuse!! (jammer was actually some 5 km behind boresight). Should not cross that line!
