All,

Osram, I'll take that as a sign you at least found the story mildly readable. Thanks.

Sir JR2, Thank you. The idea of taking my daughter for a ride in my Spitfire just came in a flash. It seemed like a pretty cool way to teach her something and enjoy the ride as well. It succeeded on all fronts. I agree, BoB is an historical reference and is capable of teaching as well as entertaining. It occurs to me that if I were a history teacher that I would use pc games like BoB to demonstrate the history being discussed in the classroon. I think it would help the kids get into it a bit more. Hmmmmm!

Zerosan2, and thank you as well. You sell your writing talents short sir. You are indeed an ecellent story teller. You also have a wonderful sense of humor.

With the BDG High Res 109 pit installed (Awesome BDG)I find myself flying a German campaign. It is very interesting from a strategic and flying perspective. I'm flying 109's from Wissant doing mostly detached escorts. I have flown 6 missions and have 5 victories. 2 Hurricanes and 3 Spitfires. The 3 spits came in the same mission. The 109 is a good plane but is harder to learn than the British aircraft. Strategy wise I have spent most of my assets on radar sites and convoys (12/7/40-20/7/40) so far and have been successful in destroying 5 stations and several convoys. Now that I have a good whole in the British radar net I am going to start reaching in to airfields around London and see what happens.

I am even going to go on a bombing run in an HE111 or one of the other bombers. My commander has volunteered me to ride along with one of them after I left the attack formation I was assigned to guard on a prior mission.

If I survive he said, I will never do that again. Swine!
