This engagement was unknown to me until I came across this film.The battle took place in the early 60's,the troops were not recognised for their bravery until 2005.You would need to see the movie to understand why.

I read up on the engagement and not one Irish life was lost.
They did however inflict heavy casualties on the attackers.
