Do I have to watch Chronicles of Riddick before watching Riddick?
Should I even bother watching Riddick or Chronicles of Riddick or either one?
"Riddick" is...well, B-movie actioner. Missable. A movie for when nothing's on, and you are couch-bound. It's not bad...it's just not great.
"Chronicles of Riddick" is a "like it or hate it" movie. There's not much middle ground. I enjoyed it more the second time around. The story is...cold...there's no love there, empathy is minimal...and yet, there's something to this movie. The story is significant, the visuals are good, the action is good, good dialogue...yea it's worth watching, but I can't guarantee that you'll love it. But I really liked it.
