Don't get me wrong, it steps up but not like S2-4 did. It's more like how S1 ended. It saves the season, but it doesn't make it better than previous ones.

Got one more episode left. You're right. It does feel like season one. You can't match the Red Wedding no matter how many action scenes they film and Colosseums with dragons. GAWD, I hope Stanis dies a cruel death... and that witch burns for a loooooong time.
