I watched it twice, back to back. I also read a synopisis of the movie during the first part of the second viewing. Before I'd seen 2001 I'd read that book.

I have to say, as soon as JarJar/Tars/R2D2 appeared I was disappointed. I strived to let that go in the second viewing.

The opening about the Earth's demise contrasted to 2001's Dawn Of Man. After that I found a lot of comparisons, but what can you expect now a days? Half of the dialog could have been left out. The issues with the movie's physics were known, so those got chuckles when I noticed.

Since I've watched it I keep thinking,,, 'Plan A', 'Plan B'.

I'll give it three out of five. Less dialog would have raised my score. I'll gladly watch it again.
