**shrug** Hollywood is a business before anything else. They are going to make stuff that makes the most money. If you want intelligent films that go against the grain and aren't afraid to take creative risks check out the independent/foreign film market.

Will audiences eventually tire of superhero movies? Perhaps but if and when that does happen, Hollywood studios will just move on to the next big selling craze.
