Rengô kantai shirei chôkan: Yamamoto Isoroku

Japanese movie (2011) about Admiral Yamamoto. Some decent CGI including some aerial fighting but all in all a rather slow, dialogue-heavy movie. The character of Yamamoto appears very much idealized, a thoughtful man always fighting for peace under difficult circumstances. As with most Japanese WW2 movies I miss a bit a more critical approach to the subject.

I'd rate it 6/10. 7/10 for history buffs.
