Mods alone have caused me to purchase games from the developer. TK with Strike Fighters 2 is a perfect example. I purchased it so I could play a mod and I actually had to buy a couple expansions since the mod required it.

I fly SF2 still, but I don't think I have ever flown it bone stock. TK can thank the modders for helping them sell their product.
