I would say PE only; but TBH I don't know. The real question is: Is 'WOFF PE Realistically Populated Airfields 1.0 by JJJ65' mod compatible with UE as well? I'm pretty sure that my mod might very well be compatible with UE, but as I used airbases from another mod, it creates dependencies.

As you know strategies changed throughout the war, For example:

(1) Solo flights were more prevalent on both sides earlier in war, and you'll need JJJ's ME to modify the generated mission (xml) files.
(2) Fuel shortages for German side also needs the ME to edit the mission file.
(3) Both Active and Quiet sections of the front are represented in the MOD with different mission types for each.
etc...

A more descriptive list of OH's MOD changes can be found here and here.

Yes I've seen it. Have to check it more in details. However, IMHO it needs to be adjusted (for example, I see 'sramble' or 'airfield attack' for scouts, which were very unlikely to happen - especially concerning German fighters; if it did happen, I would be glad to read something about that)

From my own knowledge, mission types were not varied at all.

As a French, and with a 30 years interest in WW1, I'm more an expert of French scout units, obviously. You can summarized their missions as 'Ronde front d'armée' as Guynemer used to say (Round on the army front), or 'Patrouille [town A] - [town B]' (Patrol from 2 towns occupied by Germans on the frontline) if you read for example Spa 26 logs. They did some photo recon, some occasional trench straffing, and few escorts and that's it. Regarding straffing, protection of artillery spotting machines, and even more balloon busting, these were most likely secondary duties of a patrol but not assigned objectives.

Ok. But I am guessing using OHs MOD as a base will cut down a lot of work for you. It's not entirely historically inaccurate. In fact, dividing the missions into active offensive and quiet times is better than having every mission lumped into one text file. Also, you can't emulate solo missions without it being present in the mission description. Almost all missions will benefit from JJJs ME.

Also sometimes missions need more description to get more immersion out of them....
For example, the significant impact of fuel shortages on the German side later in the war? Spy drops at night? Setting up a bombing raid with several squads (not just the default two), etc. This can be copied from that MOD.
