Kevin Bacon returns to the Payson High School in Utah on their prom day, where he filmed Footloose 40 years ago, ahead of the school demolition in 2025
The students of the high school had months long campaign to bring Kevin Bacon back, the Utah governor was also involved

Kyle Reese lands in 1984 and he puts on a pair of dirty pants he stole from a homeless street bum.
Guy has guts!
never seen these , the scene with Sarah and Kyle talking about Cyberdine and Sarah uttering her Fate line should had stayed, that's a good scene showing Sarah as a future fighter with a sole purpose of stopping judgement day and the rest of the Terminator universe.
The last deleted scene should had left it too for setting up a sequel.

Luckily MST3K has a experiment with it. James Earl Jones, Robby Benson and Kim Cattrall and motorcycles, and a rather prophetic use of electric powered RC models as weapons.

I'm a huge MST3K fan and the City Limits episode is one of my favorites. It's the only bad movie I've seen James Earl Jones in.

And James gets in a few good zingers. Like Crow was mentioning everyone of the actors in this movie were pretending it wasn't as bad as it was. The other motorcycle themed bad movie they panned was the Italian made Warrior of the Lost World. That was funny.

Ah yes, the one with Donald Pleasance as the main villain. He was one of those actors who always turned in a good performance regardless of how bad the movie might be.

And "the Paper Chase Guy" as the anti-hero lead. His acting was, I suppose, meant to be the tough guy of few words, but comes off like a 13 year old's whiny petulance. And the AI bike was really annoying.

And for you astute Star Trek fans, Persis Khambatta was also in the film (Ilia from ST: The Motion Picture).

Good trailer. It doesn't show too much and it doesn't gives away anything. Many movies today you've already know the entire movie after seeing a 2 minute trailer.
One of the few films I would say is better than the book. Another being 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. Incidentally both with Jack Nicholson in the leading role! I agree with you regarding the proliferation of trailers; usually showing the best bits of the film making viewing the movie a bit of an anticlimax these days.

The good thing about today show everything trailers, they help us save money by skipping a lot of movies.
I never understood the ending of Shining. Can you please explain it to me, BD-123? Thank you!
How is Jack in that old photo from 1920?
Also does the book has the same ending?

I have not read the book but many critics and fans say that the "Fight Club" movie is better than the book including the author! And there's also "Blade Runner" which is universally considered to be superior to the short story by Phillip K. Dick.

I saw it twice in one week, once with the girlfriend and then again with her sister later in the week. The queues were mental. Never seen anything like it.
Uncle Jesse: You know why tornadoes and blonds are so much alike? Luke Duke: No. Uncle Jesse: At first, there's a lot of sucking and blowing, and then you lose your house.

I have several vivid memories of seeing it in the theater with my parents that day. I was 4 years old at the time and I remember some guy sitting behind me saying "use la espada estupido!" (use the sword stupid) during the scene when Luke gets pulled under the water by the dionaga when they are trapped inside the trash compactor.
