My very first PC was a Packard Bell 486sx-20 that I bought in 1992. If I recall correctly the first 2 games I installed on it were Falcon 3.0 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

I watched the video. I’m not sure what is more amusing: the overacting by the female reporter or the horrid early 90’s fashion that she’s wearing.

My very first PC was a Tandy 1000 TX in 1986. MS-DOS ftw. That lady is a noob.

We are almost an identical vintage. Tried hard to save for the dx but couldn't wait

My first beige box was a 386 DX 40 (couldn't afford a 486). I wanted the DX because of the maths processor which Falcon would utilise. I think I had 2 mb of memory and a 40mb hard disk and ran MS:DOS 5.00. No CD drive and no sound card until I got bitten by the upgrade bug. From then on my wallet was doomed...

Happy days though. I loved to edit the config.sys and autoexec.bat files to get enough free memory and get devices working. It gave me a sense of achievement that is somewhat lacking in our modern day systems.

Uncle Jesse: You know why tornadoes and blonds are so much alike?
Luke Duke: No.
Uncle Jesse: At first, there's a lot of sucking and blowing, and then you lose your house.
