I am the one landing the Ju-52. I swithced the view so you could watch my landing from the perspective of another 352nd member (too_cool).
This was during a multi group campaign where it required the two of us to capture the airfield. The one on the ground captured the ground and after TC captured the flag it was necessary for me to land and drop off a load of cargo without getting killed.

Several of us were engaged with Bf-109’s and Fw-190s over and near the city of Bonninghardt in Grid 1421. As for my success during the mission let me sum it up by saying "Sometimes you are the windshield other times you are the bug…"

Even though I know the sites are Global I am still quite often surprised at the interactions these videos or forums engender.
I posted this video on a DIscord channel a couple of days ago and I had an interesting conversation today with someone who actually lives in the area. According to them the German town of Alpen is actually mislabeled in the game as Bonninghardt. I looked it up on Google maps and they were definitely correct regarding the town naming..

I was on the 352ndVFG Great Battles Dogfight Server and I had an engine out failure while attacking a bogey. This engine out failure forced me to attempt a dead stick landing at a nearby friendly airfield that was under an artillery barrage.
