Ive hardly seen any at all. Is there any hope of seeing it added in the future?

MACHINE GUN FIRE: CAMBRIN by ROBERT GRAVES (September 25 1915)

The torn line wavers, breaks, and falls. 'Get up, come on!' the captain calls 'Get up, the Welsh, and on we go!' (Christ, that my lads should fail me so!) A dying boy grinned up and said: 'The whole damned company, sir; it's dead.' 'Come on! Cowards!' bawled the captain, then Fell killed, among his writhing men.

i think what he means is you are either flying fine or got the odd bulet hole of ust like that pic with nothing,... which looks stupid anyway,

there seems to be no real middle,

I am lucky enough to run CFS3 nicely and i have noticed the higher graphic settings the better Visual DM, but only to some extent.

sorry to bring it up but il-2 for example the many different visual effects of damage.

I get no visual damage from flak, and when I receive rounds from other planes, the bulltet holes dance around. It appears that the various damage overlays are being layed down one after the other, repeatedly.............

The flak damage is a problem that needs to be fixed and the totally destroyed version is a bit over the top (called Hollywood Explosions)but the typical gun/cannon damage fits most combat picture of planes that don't break up and get back.

This 262 is in trouble with its left engine failing and control problems.

BTW I dont have any 'moving' bullet hole decals.

One thing you will not see is this 'mouse bite' damage used on IL-2 which is not how sheet metal reacts to bullets & cannon rounds. It actually looks like somebody poured acid on the plane \:\)

That all being said I think you can expect to see excellect effects on the 3rd party planes when they start rolling out.

Try to take a close look at the blown out bombardier station in B-17G's nose. If anyone has Jablonsky's B-17 history you will see the actual picture its taken from.

BTW the real life B-17 did make it back to base with 3 dead.

Don't ask the hard questions y'all will make them mad.

Truth is the mouse drinks it to wash down the sheetmetal. ;\)

I always see damage in CFS3. Pretty realistic looking bullet holes and I only have an old PIII 800
