Decades...wow! No longer in sims but still peruse here often. I think you must have the lowest post count to time of membership ratio I have ever seen! 881 posts in 21 years is staggeringly low.

Two 1999'ers in a row.
Alan has always been a prolific poster and very helpful guy, especially on the hardware and software forum.
I remember Walt, haven't seen him around in awhile.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I’m the epitome of a ninja...is Walt here? Does he exist or just vapor a figment of the imagination told to SimHQ children at bedtime lmbo...
Idk why I was never terribly vocal perhaps it’s the plethora of smart folks here. A person should know when to keep his mouth shut and just listen. 🙂

you'd see my join year as 97. Back when there were only 4 of us. My how things have changed. I sometimes forget that SimHQ was founded in 1997 instead of 1999. It's crazy to think that was 23 years ago when Bill was Prez, the X-Files was a massive hit show and Grunge music had finally started to die out.

I think my first post was in the FS2004 forums. Speaking of ThirdWire sims, I remember following that for a long time. I think I had a magazine article as well as followed it lightly by way of limited internet and waited and waited and waited. Then I think something weird happened and Walmart got its hands on it for some sort of exclusive first release deal. I think it released too soon and was a broken mess. I believe it was being called something else too for the Walmart version. Then finally it got back on track and then became Strike Fighters Project One. I waited and waited and when I finally read that it had gone gold, I would call Electronic Boutique to see if they had it. I finally went in one day thinking it would be in stock. I came in on a day where the mail delivery had come and I could see the employee unpacking boxes with piles of PC game boxes and got excited. I looked over the counter and saw a copy of it and got even more excited. Then I said I wanted to buy SFP1 but they said they didn't have any copies. I asked, "Isn't that it over there"? and he said it was someone's preorder. ! I didn't realized I'd have to do that but apparently because it was such a small, not well known title they were getting it in store by individual ordering and not just in store stock. So if I recall I ordered a copy. And if memory serves, when it finally came in, I not only bought SFP1(loving the sight of the cold war era A-4 jet and the like on the back which I had been looking forward to) I also went by Best Buy and bought Combat Flight Simulator 3 which had released. That was a good day for simming.
