Driving across the state for a 0530 surgery time. At least it won't be as bad as a pallet revision and will heal quicker than both my rebuilt knees.

Hope it goes well and fixes the issue.

Good luck, and may it correct what it needs to, and may your recovery be swift and smooth.

Only metal I have in my body actually is my knee from the rescue op that went bad on my Africa deployment. Took me a year to recover and exit an aircraft (they told me they expected it to be 2 years). Worst part was attending a guy's Purple Heart half way through the recovery knowing his injury only required 10 stitches. Well, I can't quite say it was the worst thing. I also took a malingering charge too, but I beat the POS 1SG on that and his two Chapters.

While we members of the medical community greatly appreciate your support, you should know that it is now acceptable for you to allow others to carry that burden of responsibility.
I wish you a speedy and boring recovery.

I'm doing okay, least amount of pain I've experienced from a surgery. Not comfortable, but not that bad. Sleeping a lot of course.
