http://tvo.org/video/documentaries/how-big-is-the-universeIn the last few years, astronomers and particle physicists have found new ways to probe the cosmos and are creating detailed maps that stretch almost all the way to the birth of time - 13.6 billion years ago. Using an innovative graphic that reveals the scale and wonder of the universe, Horizon travels from east to west, in to the setting sun and the wheeling cosmos, and all the way to the edge of existence, unlocking some surprising stories.
Are there parallel universes beyond our own? Does our universe have an edge? This video could send some people over the edge.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

From what I can tell from the drawings, the Universe is about three giant turtles high.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

We will never know since celestial bodies are moving away from us faster than the speed of light, and accelerating.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein

Not bad for 6,000 years...
Uncle Jesse: You know why tornadoes and blonds are so much alike? Luke Duke: No. Uncle Jesse: At first, there's a lot of sucking and blowing, and then you lose your house.

Not bad for 6,000 years... Ah.. You just had to bring religion into it didn't you.. Trying to ridicule the belief of one person(6000 years), with the belief of another (Big Bang), will get you in trouble. You do realize that the belief of the Big Bang says that the universe didn't take 6000 years to come into existence, but even more ridiculous.... a mere moment of time... So, not bad for a split second.

I would love to meet my counterpart in one of these alternate universes. I've always wanted to see myself wearing all black and sporting a goatee. What if you ARE the evil universe PanzerMeyer?

Science is now moving away from it, just like they did with the flat earth. http://www.livescience.com/49958-theory-no-big-bang.html
