According to a Desastersoft press release last spring, the English version of Channel Battles was to be available at the end of August 2014. I've been checking their website frequently to see if it is available, but now their website appears to be down. Anyone know if they are still in business?

While your at it HeinKill can you ask Desastersoft if there's anyway to re-download one of their add-ons, Bought it over a year ago, and lost it in computer crash....
I sent them a email and the reply was to send them compilation email.... LOL that was close to 1 1/2 ago, who knows where that email is.... Guess I could call the NSA and have them send me a copy of it....
If you don't like me, You can do one, of two things, deal with it, or get the heck out.

Hola all, Is this working with a Team Fusion modded CloD, or vanilla patched-only?
Cheers, Slug

I have the Galland add-on, and while it can be fun, have been turned off from time to time with the strict campaign goals. I have to be in the mood to fly it.
I bought Channel Battles today, and the interface is pretty much exactly the same. I started the Adlerstaffel campaign, and flew the first mission just now. It was a fighter sweep, I was tail end charlie in an E1. The briefing said that all I had to do was stay alive, and make it back to base. I was thinking, "Cool, so I'll try my best to stay with my Rottenfuehrer, and shoot at an opportunity targets. What ended up happening was a furball over Canterbury (which was fun), and I shot down three hurricanes.
The interesting thing, though, is that I landed back at base, and was promptly informed that I was a baffoon, and had failed the mission, even though I had gotten three kills and landed back home. Not sure why...

So, is this "CHANNEL BATTLES – LUFTWAFFE" just campaigns from the German perspective or are there campaigns from the English perspective?
And I wonder - does then the foe go dumb after awhile like the current quick missions and missions?
Race you to the Mucky Duck!

SB ,you can choose any difficult settings you want to fly any campaign. You just progress faster through the campaign with "Real" settings.

This campaign is for Luftwaffe only. I think they will release a British Version. No Uriah, I had Hurricanes chasing me to the French coast.

So I installed this today, moved the Desastersoft campaign folders into the \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\mission\campaign\ folder, but still don't have access to these campaigns in the game. What else do I need to do to get this working? Yes, I did install the "Team Fusion" version of the add-on. Seems all I managed to do was delete my pilot progress for the Wick vs Dundas campaign.

Howdy All,
Was ready to depart with some hard cash on this campaign last night, and to my surprise Desastersoft ain't taking credit card. Is it a region thing ? Is it a global thing ? or they got very personal without knowing me ? Haven't used paypal in nearly a decade.
Cheers, Slug
