Hello all,
I recently noticed that the rudder seem to have a Deadzone,no matter what I set in the Workshop. I always like to have no Deadzones at all on my Controlers. When I move my Rudderpedals it's easily by 3-5% in each direction until I see the movement in the virtual cockpit. I haven't noticed it in flight until recently but now that I know it bothers me a tiny little bit. Is this normal and/or a CFS 3 software limitation of some sort? Is there any way I can change it,or maybe it's a problem on my end?
It's only in WoFF like that and anywhere else the Pedals are as it should be,so it's atleast no Hardware issue.

I haven't really noticed a deadzone. What pedals do you use?

I'm using MFG Crosswind pedals.

Huh, not sure what to tell you. I'm not familiar with those pedals. Hopefully, someone else on here uses the same pedals and you can compare notes.

Thanks for the replies. It's not that much of a problem, just a very minor annoyance. I only noticed it recently and it has no impact on my (bad :D) performance in game. Maybe I will find a way around it.

Maybe just increase the scale (sensitivity), and make sure you save it.

I've set it all up to Scale 200 and 0 for the Deadzone setting. I also noticed another thing, when I Bank I can see the Stick in the virtual pit moving slowly at first and when getting closer to the end of travel it moves faster. Looks like a Curve or something is applied. In Pitch the virtual stick moves 1:1 with my Hardware. I've set it to Scale 200 and Deadzone 0 too in Pitch and Roll. It's not a big deal,I'm just interested whats the cause is. I'm not using any Profile Software or any other 3rd Party Software.

No idea. I had a similar thing with the simped rudder pedals with it working in a curve not linearly until I sussed how to switch it's modes. It had 3 modes. So I had to select a linear mode - maybe check with your manufacturer see if it has modes that can be set.

Thanks for reply. My pedals don't have a mode selection like the Simpeds. I can set Deadzones etc. in the Pedals configuration software, but I don't use a Deadzone or any other of the settings. Maybe CFS3 can not take full use of the high resolution which the Pedals sensor provides.
