I recently bought a new PC and I'd like to install BF3 on it. But, can I do this while also bringing over any saved game files or MP weapon/gadget unlocks as well? I don't want to have to start from scratch as a private and work my way up again.

Any tips/advice?

ps - got BF4 for PC also. Looks awesome! Running maxed out on NVidia GTX770.

The MP stuff isn't saved locally, that's all tied to your account.

Single player, not so sure.

That's good news. I don't really need to go through the Campaign again anyway. I was more worried about rank and weapon unlocks in MP.

Copy Origin's folders to a portable HDD, for games (dont remember what they are off hand),

Install Origin on new PC, Login, Choose to let it download BF3,
Wait for it to download 1% or so, Close, shut off any processes or tray Origin Items.

Copy Folder from Portable HDD to the Folder Origin created, overwrite.

Boot Origin, Let it Check files and update if necessary,

You'd prolly also have to manually update and restore punk buster,


I did this when moving BF3 from one PC to another.
