An unannounced air combat game titled "Stormbirds," in development by Juice Games, was recently cancelled by THQ, according to former Juice artist Greg Calvert.

Stormbirds was set for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC--before THQ apparently got cold feet. As a result, the team of over 30 developers was laid off by Juiced owner THQ.

Juice Games was formed by people who worked in Digital Image Design - DID (Total Air War, EF2000, TFX)

OMG...just watched the HD trailer. How could they have killed this, it would have cleared up!!

Many of them yes, but the main guy Martin Kenwright (who founded DID and started the TFX series [i.e. TFX, EF2000:TFX2, F22:TFX3] in his home) formed a new company Evolution Studios (makers of MotorStorm for PS3) with other DID coders (i.e. Mick Hocking). MK has since sold Evolution to Sony for millions.

I'd like to see MK come back one day as the next TK, only ultra-modern instead of Vietnam era.
