Ah well. Forgive and forget. All friends now...apparently. Welcome to the world of 'childish, immature, immoral tossers'. We all change our opinions but don't try to make out you were just messing about and winding us up.

How awful for you. Selling out on what you said was morally right. Compromising your most basic principles, just for a game for ages eight and over. +1 Agree 100% mate. Look at my sig, I'd say 90% of the people who said they wouldn't touch mods, even some who told me so in PM ("not til Oleg says it's ok"), are using mods now. Fine, so why the drama and the promises then? Was it worth it? I myself won't use them, and never will now (for other reasons too), but that was my business I never made a big deal at the beginning. It was a hack til the modders (some of whom are very talented) made something you want eh?

Just remember folks... Wulfy DID NOT have to admit this in a public forum...
It takes a brave man to admit he is wrong!

I use the Wind Mod and the all Aircraft. Nothing like flying a coop mission in a 16 plane formation of B17s where the only seats available are the gunner seats. Or, to finally be one of those Cherry Blossom suicide plane pilots. Good times.

Still missing the point IMO... Mod users were scorned because others feared use of the mod would allow cheating on a large scale and destroy online compatibility. Now that some modder groups have established a set of rules to follow which prevent the first of those fears from materialising, the only way to make sure the second one doesn't happen, and that everybody can all play together again is becoming a Mod user. It was never about morality or right and wrongs of hacking the game, it was about preserving online experience. Now that the Mod is what everybody uses, not using it and sticking to your B.S morality principles would be stupid as you would then be the one who's destroying the experience and would be left out of what you sought to preserve in the first place. Personally I stopped coming here because the cutting edge was elsewhere. But as we are now allowed to endorse modding I'm pleased to come home. Hope you do the same RDDR. We need more ex-Gordon Lightfoot musicians!

Okay, then, group hug. Ming, if you're trying to pick my pocket, the wallet is on the other side. If not, see me afterwards.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."
