Greetings gentlemen,

What better start to the New Year than with another jolly test?

I am confident that the usual high standard will be forthcoming.

Bader,

Even familiar types can be tricky at certain angles.
I put Dauntless for 25!

Sorry for omission of some of the numbers.

Gentlemen,

Good show by all. Didn't think anyone would get Albemarle.

Some of the Japanese types are;

9 Emily
13 Dinah
19 Sally

Ta!

Picture 25, looks like Corsair to me. Dauntless wings are much different. Can you tell us, from which source did you get this picture?

feniks,

25 is definately a Corsair.

These pages are from an old aircraft scrapbook of pasted-in cuttings, drawings, articles etc., which must have been mostly made up during the war.
It was given to me in the early fifties when I was in the Air Training Corps.

I have always presumed that the hand-written answers given for these tests are correct. The ATC had a very high standard for aircraft recognition and I would suppose that this is still the case.
Some flashcard tests were only up for a second or less!
